About us
Sybil Blue was born to fulfil a need to be seen, and understood in a world where among the crowd the individual is often lost in anonymity.
For this reason, we started by creating customised sweatshirts, with designs tailored to the buyer’s personality. Just like the Sibyl, who in Greek and Roman mythology is gifted with prophetic virtues, the design remains a surprise until the buyer receives it, and the final product results in a reflection of their unique character. Then, with time and love, we have also worked on a line of products that take up the same philosophy, which we will gradually unveil to you.

The art of hand embroidery is ancient and rich in history, representing a tradition handed down from generation to generation, enriching the very fabric of our culture.
For women, this craft has been and continues to be a social activity, embroidery sessions are moments in which threads are woven together to create countless stories. At the same time, it is a meditative and almost magical activity, a ritual during which dreams and desires are mixed up among the threads. It gives an opportunity to travel while holding a string in one’s hand, and behind each design lie the skilful hands and creative thoughts of the person who made it. Each touch encloses a story, sometimes just a distant memory of something that has been.
Because of this, we have chosen to celebrate this art and honour it through our creations. Each design is unique, shaped by a long and patient craftsmanship process, embroidered with dedication and passion in Italy.
